Being awake. Waking up. An awakening. The Universe showing itself to you. The truth. Reality.
All of these terminologies refer to an event that most of us haven’t experienced or are curious about experiencing. But for those of us that have gone through this experience, it’s not as easy or fulfilling at the beginning stages.
If you’ve been going through a spiritual awakening process it’s hard to convey all of the small, large, and intricate details of ‘waking up’ simply– nor is it easy to cope with.
Here are five possible steps that honor a simplified view and get your foot in the door of a healthier growth process if you’re traversing the beginning stages of an awakening.
Take the time to learn how to understand how your mind, body, and soul interweave.
Without an understanding of how vital each piece of us is to balance out the state of consciousness, the harder it’ll be. Learn to differentiate thoughts through meditation to connect with your mind. Connect with your body through movement. Connect to your soul through practice of bringing all three together.
Emotional intelligence is key to breaking the barriers of our mind when it wants to defend itself against this new state of being.
If we don’t fully understand our own present state of emotions or how we feel in detail, we miss the intricate details of how our current state is being affected by our emotions and programmed cycles of the mind. This greatly affects the vibrations of your frequency and holds us in a lower state of vibration. The lower the energetic frequency, the harder it is to cope.
Be honest. When our reality breaks apart and a new understanding presents itself, the fear of being torn down by society’s standards and lying about the experience causes pain and lower frequencies to run rampant. Let yourself be free and grow unheeded. Be authentic and unafraid. Fear holds us back from connecting within and feeling from the inward–outward. Do not be afraid to face the shadow and uncomfortable-ness. You’re becoming whole.
Remove yourself from the distractions. Be in silence. Listen to the earth. Dance with the joy in your heart in quiet. We have to give ourselves the freedom to explore without any kind of distractions from our modern age. Even if it’s only 15 minutes a day or 3 weeks in solitude. Figure yourself out.
Explore love and it’s many different expressions in reality. Explore all that you’ve wanted to learn and cycles of the mind that kept you from learning about the frequency of your heart. Reprogram and reassess your place in the universe and how connected you are to every living being. Find yourself within the simple and the complex. Explore everything and discover how love holds all together within the authentic experience of consciousness. There is no more time for fake–this causes pain.
